Beats & Pieces Summer gigs

The Beats & Pieces Big Band have some really exciting gigs lined up over the next few months, starting with a really special night on Monday 13th June at the legendary Band on the Wall in Manchester – a gig that will be recorded for release in the autumn. Its going to be an incredible night, don’t miss out…

Following that, they’ll be appearing at the Mostly Jazz Festival in Birmingham on Saturday 2nd July. This is a great little festival in only its 2nd year, but with a fantastic lineup – appearing with Beats & Pieces on the Saturday alone are the Matthew Herbert Big Band, Matthew Halsall and some brilliant ensembles from the city’s Cobweb Collective, and the Friday and Sunday are headlined by the Cinematic Orchestra and Booker T. Fingers crossed for sunshine!

Finally we’re really pleased that Beats & Pieces are playing again at Ronnie Scott’s in London, this time in an exciting double bill with the amazing Kairos 4tet during Ronnie’s annual Brit Jazz Fest, celebrating the best jazz artists the country has to offer. Again the lineup for the rest of the festival is incredible…

Hope to see you at one or more of the dates!
