At the start of August we had the Beats & Pieces Big Band in the studio for a couple of days to record for an exciting upcoming release on Efpi Records. New regular night run by “Metro Jazz” – a collective of Liverpool musicians, and getting a good buzz going already. It’ll be our first outing outside of Manchester, so we’re going to play extra-specially well for it.
